CMPD: Bianca Tanner Missing Person Case Now Homicide Investigation
CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Police searched an area on Statesville Avenue for the body of a missing Charlotte woman. Thirty-one-year-old Bianca Tanner has been missing since June 8th.
CMPD said the missing person case has now been turned over to homicide detectives. Police say there has not been any activity in the last three days on her cell phone or her debit card.
There is an $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in this case.
Tanner was last seen on Druid Circle in north Charlotte. Her boyfriend, Angelo Smith, reported her missing. Tanner recently moved to Charlotte from Greensboro.
Chief Rodney Monroe says Tanner and Smith were involved in an altercation Saturday evening before he reported her missing Sunday afternoon. No arrests have been made at this time.
