Police Arrest Suspects In Several Charlotte Area Robberies

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Police arrested two men for a series of robberies in Charlotte.  Jarvis Short and Quashawn Oliver are accused of robbing the Red Sea Grocery Store, a Dollar General and a 7-Eleven. 

The men were pulled over for a traffic violation.  Upon searching the vehicle, investigators located items identified in one of the robberies.  Both men were taken into police custody.  Police say Short admitted to robbing the stores when they interviewed him. 

Short has been charged with three counts of robbery with a dangerous weapon, three counts of conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon, three counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and kidnapping. 

Oliver has been charged with three counts of conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon, three counts of possession of a firearm by a felon, five counts of robbery with a dangerous weapon and kidnapping.
