Police: Concerned Neighbor Shot after Statesville RobberySTATESVILLE, N.C.--A concerned neighbor is shot after checking on a vehicle parked in front of his home. Police say two men robbed a Rite Aid on E. Broad Street in Statesville late Monday night. The suspects left their getaway car in a neighborhood near the store. Investigators say the suspects shot the man when they returned to the car after the robbery. The victim is expected to recover. No arrests have been made at this time. |
