Third Arrest Made in Northeast Charlotte Double HomicideCHARLOTTE, N.C.--UPDATE: A man wanted in connection to a double homicide in northeast Charlotte has turned himself in. Police say, Travis Peters was wanted in the murder of Steffon Montgomery and Jonathan Green. On Saturday, Peters turned himself in to authorities at the Prince George County Jail in Maryland. There is no word yet on his extradition to Charlotte. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Three male suspects have been charged in connection to the double homicide in northeast Charlotte. Police say Nelson Brice has been taken into custody and charged with two counts of murder and two counts of attempted armed robbery. Jeremy Patton is currently at Carolinas Medical Center suffering from a gunshot wound sustained during the incident. He is police custody and charged with two counts of murder and two counts of attempted armed robbery also. VCAT is currently seeking the third suspect, Travis Gerald Peters. Mr. Peters has also been charged with two counts of murder and two counts of attempted armed robbery. He was last seen driving a 2004 Chevrolet Impala with NC registration AHJ-6052, gold in color. Anyone who knows the whereabouts of Mr. Peters or the car in which he was last seen travelling is asked to call 911 immediately. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Police are investigating after two men were found dead in northeast Charlotte. Investigators say Steffon Montgomery and Jonathan Green were shot and killed at a home on Forest Side Lane early Friday morning. Police say they believe the victims and the suspects knew each other. No arrests have been made at this time.
