Police: Local Teacher's Assistant Arrested For Manufacturing Meth
CHARLOTTE, N.C.--A Caldwell County teacher's assistant has been arrested for allegedly having a meth lab in his apartment.
US Marshals arrested Marc Hodges on a plane in Charlotte after he returned from a vacation in Mexico.
While he was out of the country, investigators obtained a search warrant and searched his apartment in Hudson. They found items used to manufacture methamphetamine.
Investigators were tipped off after Hodges purchased several boxes of ephedrine products at local stores.
Hodges is facing several felony charges including manufacturing meth. He is currently in the Caldwell County Jail on a $150,000 bond.
