Police Looking for Suspects in East Charlotte HomicideCHARLOTTE, NC -- A man is dead and police are canvassing the area looking for possible suspects. According to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police, Christopher Cordero was shot and killed on Wilora Lake Drive Monday afternoon. Police say they responded to a call around 5:34 p.m. in reference to a gun shot wound. After investigating, it is believed that the suspects and victim had an altercation in the driveway which led to the shooting. They do not believe this was a random act of violence and that the victim and suspects knew each other. The suspects are described as two black males, one with dreadlocks. They were last seen fleeing the scene in a white SUV, possibly a Ford Explorer, towards Sharon Amity Road. Anyone with additional information is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers. |
