Police Make Arrest in East Charlotte SWAT SituationCHARLOTTE , NC -- A Charlotte man wanted on several warrants is behind bars tonight. Police say they received a tip around 10 a.m. that Jecorey Fraylon was at a home on Kistler Avenue. While Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police were making preparations to apprehend the suspect, they received a phone call from the sister of Fraylon's girlfriend. The female advised that Fraylon was holding her sister and an infant against their will at the residence. Officers attempted to make contact with Mr. Fraylon but received no answer. The SWAT Team was activated and responded to the scene. After speaking with SWAT negotiators, Mr. Fraylon surrendered without further incident. The female and child that were inside of the residence were located unharmed. |
