CABARRUS COUNTY, N.C. -- Police have released the name of the second person they are looking for involved in a 4-county police chase.

The Cabarrus County Sheriff's Officer says Robert Smith, 23, assisted Jarvis Marsh in a home invasion that occurred in the early morning hours on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 in the Midland area. Deputies say a 92-year old woman was seriously injured in that incident.

Warrants have been issued for Smith's arrest on 2 counts of 1st degree kidnapping.

Smith was also involved in a home invasion in the University area of Charlotte, before committing crimes in Cabarrus County, and ending a police chase in Anson county.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5'7", 150 lbs. He has tattoos on the backs of his hands. One says "they" and the other hand says "know". He is considered armed and dangerous.

If you see this individual, do not approach him but call 911 or your local Crime Stoppers. He is believed to be in the area of his home in Morven, NC but he may also be in Cabarrus, Stanly or Anson County, or even South Carolina.
