Police Say Former CMS Teacher Killed Wife Before Killing HimselfCHARLOTTE, N.C.--Police say a former CMS teacher shot and killed his wife before turning the gun on himself. A family member found the bodies of Clyde and Ida Valentine in their northwest Charlotte home earlier this month. Investigators say evidence in the case has pointed to murder-suicide. Clyde Valentine was a teacher at Phillip O. Berry Academy of Technology but was terminated from the school system on October 30th after being charged with three counts of indecent liberties with a child. Police say the victim was not a student. |
