Police Search for Cigarette Thieves

GASTONIA, N.C.-- Police in Gastonia are requesting the public's help to identify two suspects who stole $2,500 worth of cigarettes.

According to police, two suspects broke into the Bi-Lo store on Union Road where they took 57 cartons of cigarettes from behind a counter.

Police describe the suspects as two black males with medium builds, one having a goatee. One was wearing a camo jacket with a hood, blue jeans and black shoes. The other was wearing a coat that was mostly tan with a dark color on the shoulders.
