Police Search for Missing Man

CHARLOTTE, N.C.-- The Missing Person Unit of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department needs the public's help finding a man missing since early January.

Derrick Chambers, 25, was last seen by his mother on January 3rd leaving their home. Chambers is believed to be suffering from mental issues. Investigators are checking hospitals and the bus system.

Anyone with information about Chambers whereabouts is asked to call 911 or Crime Stoppers at (704) 334-1600.
