CHARLOTTE, NC -- Authorities say they are looking for a man and woman after they carjacked a taxi driver at knife point and left him stranded. According to police, Theophilus Hoggard, a Prestige Taxi driver, was on his way home around noon on Monday. That's when he picked the two people up near the intersection of North Tryon Street and Sugarcreek Road. Hoggard says he was instructed to turn down a deserted road off of South Boulevard and that's when he felt the knife against his neck. The suspects demanded cash and left in the taxi, leaving Hoggard behind. Police say they were able to locate the vehicle near Beatties Ford Road and LaSalle Street. There is no word yet on the suspect's description.
