Police Search for Smoothie King Robbery SuspectsCHARLOTTE, N.C.-- Robbery Detectives with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department are searching for two suspects that robbed a South Charlotte business Monday night. According to police, two armed men entered the Smoothie King on Providence Road just before 9 p.m. Monday. After demanding money armed with handguns, the two fled in an older style Buick. The first suspect is described as a black male with an average build, wearing a black hood over his head with a brightly colored bandana covering his face, a camouflage jacket, blue jeans and reddish colored shoes. The second suspect is described as a black male with an average build, wearing a purple hoodie with a dark bandana covering his face, gray sweatpants and tennis shoes. Anyone with information about this robbery, the suspects' identities and their whereabouts is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (704) 334-1600. |
