Police Searching for South Charlotte Bank Robbery Suspect

CHARLOTTE, NC -- Police are searching for a possible bank robbery suspect in south Charlotte. According to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police, on Monday around 9:45 a.m., a male suspect entered the SunTrust bank on Galleria Boulevard and demanded cash from the teller. No weapon was seen but the suspect is described as being a black male, wearing a grey hooded jacket with a white stripe. Police say he was carrying a Bed, Bath, and Beyond bag when he came into the bank.
