CHARLOTTE,  N.C. -  This Saturday Charlotte's 17th Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade will be one of the largest in the country and the Charlotte Goes Green Festival will have something Irish for everyone.  It was  pretty cold this morning, but Wilson even got into the Irish spirit with the Walsh Kelly School of Irish Dance when he was previewing the events.  And of course, again this year our favorite Wilson will be in the parade again this year as well as everything from Irish dancers, pirates, animals, accordion players and more.

Both the festival and parade will be held in Uptown Charlotte Saturday, March 16th.  The Charlotte Goes Green Festival kicks off at 10am and runs through 6pm.  The parade begins at 11am at Tryon and 9th Streets with a new, extended route with Governor Pat McCrory Grand Marshal.  Get more information on all of the St. Patrick's Day festivities in Uptown Charlotte at the link below.
