Scientists Create Anti-Alcohol Vaccine
CHILE-- A new vaccine promises the worst hangovers ever to stop alcoholics from drinking. Scientists in Chile say the vaccination works by blocking the liver from metabolizing alcohol. When the booze hits the liver, you get all the side-effects of a terrible hangover. This includes everything from severe nausea to a headache. The goal is not to deal with addiction, but to make people think twice about drinking too much. Researchers will start testing on humans in November. |
