CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Wildfires continue to threaten homes in Colorado.  More than 100 homes and other buildings have already been destroyed and nearly 10,000 people have been forced to evacuate their homes.  Although one person is missing, so far no injuries or deaths have been reported.

The Black Forest fire is one of the largest right now and is burning dangerously close to Colorado Springs.  Shelby native Carly Rogers who is now living in Colorado Springs talked via Skype with Rising's Terrance Bates about the wildfires which she can see from her home.
