CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Social media is buzzing about a possible attack on SouthPark Mall by Islamic Military Group ISIS after seeing a suspicious tweet.

The FBI and CMPD are speaking out about the article titled, "Isis Terrorism Supporter Threatens To Suicide Bomb A Shopping Mall." One tweet from the account @DrA12325665 mentions SouthPark being the largest mall in Charlotte.

The FBI sent WCCB this statement in regards to the possible ISIS threat on SouthPark Mall:

"The FBI is unaware of any specific, credible threats to the U.S. or the Charlotte area at this time.  The FBI works around the clock with our partners in the law enforcement community to share and assess information.  As always, we encourage the public to remain vigilant and to report any suspicious activities to your local police or the FBI."

CMPD and the FBI say they don't believe there is a threat to SouthPark Mall.
