CHARLOTTE,NC--A two car accident on Mallard Creek Road left multiple people injured  around 11:30 Sunday morning.

Authorities say firefighters had to free at least three people who were pinned in one vehicle after it reportedly rolled over during the accident.

Reports say at least 8 people were transported to the hospital suffering from injuries ranging from life threatening, potentially life threatening and non-life threatening.

Med-Center Air was called to transport at least two patients to CMC Main.

Police have not released the cause of the wreck.
