CHARLOTTE, N.C.--We obscured this woman's face and altered her voice. She asked us to conceal her identity because she's terrified of her East Charlotte neighbor, 51 year old Yul Truesdale. "He is terrorizing us," she said.

Truesdale has been arrested four times in the last two years for peeping. In September, 2010; September, 2012 and earlier this month on March 3 and again on March 5. "We're always looking over our shoulder. Are we the next target? We try and walk dogs  together. If its dark and we have to go somewhere, we let people know. It's terrible having to live like that," said the woman we talked to.

No one answered the door when we knocked at Truesdale's home Thursday. The District Attorney's office says it wouldn't comment on Truesdale because one of his cases is still active. A spokeswoman says the first secreet peeping offense is a misdemeanor. Each one after that is also a misdemeanor and carries a sentence of up to five months in jail.

Leaving some members of the Firethorne Community to feel helpless. "I think somebody is going to get hurt. Somebody could end up getting killed," she said.

Now all they can do to protect each other is put up posters and warnings like this. Truesdale is scheduled to face a judge on April first for his latest secret peeping charges.
