Teens Making A Difference In South Charlotte
CHARLOTTE,NC--Teens fed more than 300 people as part of the Harris YMCA's annual "Love Thy Neighbor" dinner Saturday night.
Guests of the dinner got a hot meal, free haircut and toiletries as a way to help the homeless and needy in Charlotte.
The group of 28 teenagers spent weeks getting ready for the event and organizers say it's about demonstrating what it means to serve your community.
Cluck N' Cup donated food for the meal and Salon 42 in Dilworth provided the free haircuts.
