Two Injured In California School Shooting

TAFT, CA--Two people were injured after a high school shooting in California.

Authorities say around 9 a.m. a student carrying a shotgun shot and wounded two students in the science building of the Taft Union High School.

One of the victims was airlifted after being shot in the chest while the other refused treatment after suffering minor injuries.

Taft Police Department will not release any further information at this time but believe the shooter was a student of the high school.
