Union County Public Schools Encounter Cyber AttackUNION COUNTY, N.C.-- Officials are investigating after the Union County Public School System's web server was hacked on Thursday. School employees are at risk of having their confidential information, such as social security numbers, compromised by the cyber attack. The Union County Sheriff's Office says an investigation is underway to determine what information was affected as well as who is responsible. According to reports, the investigation is still in it's early stages and nothing has been discovered yet. |
