Where in the World is Wilson?Wilson Visits Spirit Square Before GIS Day EventCHARLOTTE, N.C. - Wilson was at Spirit Square as they prepared for GIS Day. GIS Day is an event to introduce students to careers in geography fields. There are many opportunities in the field that most student don't even think about. The event is open to schools, businesses and the general public to showcase the real-world applications of GIS (geographic information systems) technology. One of the items on display will be a large 40' x 50' map of Africa on the floor in one of the rooms at Spirit Square. The GIS Day event at Spirit Square Center for Arts and Education is open from 8:30am until 4:00pm with free admission and open to the public.
