CHARLOTTE, N.C. -   Dressed in his finest tuxedo t-shirt and top hat Wilson broke out his much loved accordion to audition for the Charlotte Symphony.   He was negotiating for a spot on the stage with the symphony this Sunday during their Summer Pops at SouthPark.   Symphony Principal Tuba Aubrey Foard even joined with Wilson to perform a duet. Thankfully Maestro Albert-George Schram and symphony members have a great sense of humor.

This Sunday's concert is all about movie themes.  So pack a picnic basket, grab your blanket and the family and head out to Symphony Park for a great evening of music under the stars with the Charlotte Symphony.  Tickets can be purchased on-line or at the gate.  Kids under 18 are free. Gates open at 5pm.  Prelude acts begin at 7pm with the Symphony beginning at 8:15pm.
