CHARLOTTE, N.C. -  Saturday's "Keep Pounding 5k Stadium Run" is an important event helping to raise funds for pediatric cancer research at Levine Children's Hospital.  Wilson was at Bank of America Stadium where the event will be held, giving us a preview of this important event.

Wilson made friends with nine year old Sydney, a young lady who is currently a patient at Levine Children's Hospital.  Wilson and Sydney talked about some of her favorite things to do outside and some of the things she enjoys while at the hospital.

The "Keep Pounding 5K Stadium Run"  is the only race that takes the runner into the home of the Carolina Panthers, through the tunnel, onto the field and see themselves on the large jumbotron.  The race begins tomorrow, Saturday, May 11th with an 8am start.  Even if you aren't a runner, you can come out and cheer on those that do run.

Online registration has closed, but runners who would like to participate may still register at the Charlotte Running Company located at 1412 East Blvd in Charlotte today from 10am until 7pm.
