CHARLOTTE, N.C. -  Construction of the future home of the Charlotte Knights, the BB&T Ballpark, is coming along great.  Wilson headed Uptown to the construction site having a lot of fun with Knights' mascot Homer checking out today's "topping off" ceremony.

The new BB&T Ballpark will be ready for the opening game in April of 2014.  The stadium includes over 60,000 bricks, 1,100 tons of steel and 10,000 cubic yards of concrete but more imporantly  there have been over 170,000 to man hours on the job thus far.

You can be a part of the new stadium.  Commemorative bricks will be placed at the entrace of the stadium and your name or the name of a loved one can be on the brick.  To find out how you can purchase one of these bricks click HERE.

Tickets are now on sale for suite and club seats.  In July the season ticket drive will launch.  Stay connected with the Knights on their website for updated information.
