Winter Storm Leaves At least a Foot of Snow in the Northeast

STATEN ISLAND, N.J.-- Thursday night hundreds of thousands of people in the northeast were suffering in freezing temperatures without power.

An early winter storm dumped more than a foot of snow on parts of Connecticut and New Jersey. More than 1,500 flights were canceled Thursday.

The November Nor'easter delivering a one-two punch to people already struggling with damage from Hurricane Sandy.
