$3,000 Toilet Stolen In Japan

KYOTO, JAPAN-- A lot of money just went down the drain... A $3,000 toilet was recently stolen from a Japanese public bathroom.

The commode crime took place in Kyoto, Japan, in a public park ladies' room. According to reports, thieves stole the costly can by lifting the entire unit out of the ground. Officials in Kyoto say they have seen bathroom vandalism before, but never the theft of an entire toilet.

A similar incident occurred earlier this year in Milwaukee by a "bathroom bandit" who was accused of stealing $30,000 worth of automatic flush valves from urinals and toilets.
