Couple Receives Felony Charge For Sneaking Into Movie
PORTAGE, IN-- A couple that snuck into a movie theater in Indiana now faces felony charges.
Police say Lendsey and Delilha Harbin attempted to sneak into a showing of the zombie movie "Warm Bodies". An off-duty police officer spotted the two and asked them to show their tickets.
According to reports, Delilha Harbin finally admitted "I know we done wrong" after the two could not provide the officer with movie tickets.
Because they did pay $6.75 to legally watch the movie, the Harbins were both charged with felony theft of services. The charge is punishable by one year or more in jail.
The officer says this is a normal charge for someone caught sneaking into a movie, but he suspects the couple will not receive any prison time.
