Police: Georgia Man Crashes Into 17 Cars While Driving Impaired
STONE MOUNTAIN,GA--Georgia police arrested a man accused of hitting 17 vehicles and killing a woman on a hit and run spree in Georgia.
Michael Snider, 70, reportedly got behind the wheel of his Ford Super Duty, drunk, and managed to hit multiple vehicles along highway 78, killing a passenger in a Toyota Camry.
Police say the spree ended after Snider lost control of his pickup and crashed into a restaurant.
When Snider finally came to and realized the damage he caused, reports say he needed counseling, according to CBS Atlanta.
Witnesses say that snider was intentionally striking cars along the spree, Dennis Brown told WSBT, "He intentionally tried to hit me so that's when he chased me, literally chased me, on the road. It was like a video game. Really, I couldn't believe he was trying to do that," Brown said. "I was just trying to get out of the way."
Snider was treated for minor injuries and was arrested and charged with vehicular homicide, serious injury by vehicle, DUI, reckless driving and additional pending charges.
