LEGO Spill Causes Major Traffic Jam on W.V. Interstate
HARRISON COUNTY, W.V.--A major traffic jam in West Virginia was blamed on a boy's LEGO collection.
Police say a family tied a plastic container full of LEGO blocks to the top of their vehicle but the straps came loose causing thousands of LEGO pieces to spill on Interstate 79 in West Virginia.
Only one lane of traffic was open as crews cleaned up the LEGO pieces.
The mother said she pulled over and tried to pick up as many blocks as possible but there were just too many. Her 11-year-old son cried after realizing he lost a majority of his LEGO collection.
