Mom Accused of Letting 5-Year-Old Use Tanning BoothNUTLEY, N.J.--A woman has been arrested after police say she put her 5-year-old daughter in an upright tanning booth. Police charged Patricia Krentcil with felony child endangerment. Cops were alerted by school officials after the 5-year-old showed up to school with sunburns. The child told her classmates that she went tanning with her mother. Krentcil says her daughter was in the room where the tanning booth was located but she was not in the actual tanning booth. Krentcil has been released from jail on a $25,000 bond. |
