BUNNELL, F.L.-- It took officers 30 minutes to catch a drunk man riding a horse through northeast Florida. Flagler County police arrested 29-year-old Charles Cowart Monday on several charges.

Someone reported Cowart and when police found him he was crossing the railroad tracks. Cowart then told police he was going to his grandmother's house.

Officials say they asked Cowart to get off the horse when the chase started.  Once police finally caught him, he was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest without violence, and cruelty to animals.
