SIOUX FALLS, S.D.-- A women gets four speeding tickets in less than 3 hours, including one for going 112 mph.

Loretta Lacy allegedly raced 525 miles from Sioux Falls, S.D. to Racine, W.I. on Friday to make it to her granddaughter's middle-school dance.

Dispatchers received complaints about a car speeding and weaving through traffic along the interstate. According to reports, Lacy was then pulled over by a state trooper for doing 112 mph and ticketed for speeding, no insurance, and possession of marijuana.

She didn't stop there. Lacy, 49, then received a second ticket for going 99 mph and two more for going 88 mph. State Patrol says her offenses were only misdemeanors so she was not arrested.

Despite her best efforts, however, Lacy did not make it to her granddaughter's dance on time.
