CANADA-- Close to 10,000 people have evacuated their Canadian homes due to flooding.

Authorities enforced the evacuations after they worried the Saskatchewan River would burst.

At least three people have died from the flooding, and some authorities said they expected power outages in Calgary to last for months.

Some regions have received six months' worth of rain in a matter of days.
