Amazing Art is Created with the Help of the Sea at the Mint MuseumWilson visits the Mint Museum to see the art work of Motoi YamamotoCHARLOTTE, N.C. - When Japanese artist Motoi Yamamoto lost his sister, he put down the regular tools of his trade. He then began to create his artistic masterpieces with more personal materials and on a much grander scale to help him through his grief. He has brought his talent to the Mint Museum in Uptown Charlotte. Wilson was in the atrium at the Mint where he was able to give us a preview of Yamamoto's Saltwork art. The atrium at the Mint Museum will be open to the public and free for everyone to stop in and view Yamamoto's artwork. On March 3rd visitors will be invited to take part in a community dismantling of the saltwork. Get more information at the weblink below. The Mint Museum Uptown will also be celebrating the openings of their newest exhibits this Friday, March 1st at "First Look Friday."
