PINEVILLE, N.C. - Wilson was at Pineville Elementary School today where they are in need of proctors for this year's end of grade testing.  But leave it to Wilson to turn his visit into a game show. with a little help from Marcus Smith, President of Charlotte Motor Speedway and his budy Lugnut.  They had a lot of fun with the kids cheering them on.

Pineville Elementary is in need of proctors for end of grade testing.  They need 35 adults each day to volunteer as proctors to oversee the important E.O.G. tests.  If you would like to volunteer to help out at Pineville, you can sign up at  They are especially in need of proctors for Thursday.

To add a little incentive for those thinking about volunteering, Marcus Smith and Lugnut gave the school tickets to this Friday's N.C. Educational Lottery Truck Race and All Star Qualifying for all adults who proctor this week.  He also had 2 tickets for this Saturday's NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race for one lucky proctor to win.

But the students at the school have not only been looking for volunteers, they have been busy helping others themselves.  With help from Family Dollar Stores the students turned their interest in the book, "An Angel for Solomon Singer"  into a challenge for each student to come together and collect needed items  for the Men's Shelter in Charlotte.  The 4th graders were serious about their work on the project and even received a letter from the President.
