CHARLOTTE , N.C. - Wilson topped off his week with his "variety" hour live from 7th Street Market. He covered topics from the funny to the serious.
While he was at the market he brought us information on the importance of early breast cancer detection by getting yearly mammograms. "Project Pink" is a collaboration with the Levine Cancer Institute, Charlotte Radiology and other participants to help those women who are uninsured to get that important mammogram. Click on the link below to find out more about screening locations and dates.
But on the lighter side, he found out more information about everything going on at the 7th Street Market. From great bakery items to a "tree-in-a-bag." There will be a lot of events and happenings going on at the market from now through the holidays.
Don't forget, this Saturday is the Carolinas Freedom Foundation "Salute to Veterans" Parade in Uptown Charlotte. Our own Wilson will be emceeing the event again this year. The parade starts at 11am at 700 North Tryon Street.
