CHARLOTTE , N.C. - Wilson was excited today kicking off this year's partnership with FOX Charlotte and the Salvation Army Angel Tree program.  He was at Peppermint Forest Christmas Shop where he not only got a chance to bring us more information on Angel Tree but do a little shopping for some Christmas decorations for the home and tree and even meet Shuckey Duckey with the Universoul Circus.

This year, there are more children in need than ever before.  Over 13,500 children from Mecklenburg and  23 other counties in North and South Carolina from the ages of less than 1 to 14 have signed up for Angel Tree.  Wilson talked with many of the sponsors who are supporting the program.  You can help by either adopting an angel from one of the many Angel Tree sponsors or from the virtual Angel Tree on foxcharlotte.com.  Go to the link below to find out how you can help a child in need in your area.

If you are planning on going to the Universoul Circus on Sunday, November 18th take along an unwrapped gift that will be donated to the Angel Tree program.
