CHARLOTTE, NC  -  This Sunday, members  from the Charlotte Fire Fighters Association along with law enforcement and EMS personnal will all come together to participate in the 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb to honor those first responders who died in the 9/11 attack on the Twin Towers.  Some of the members will not be able to participate on Sunday, so they met up with Wilson today to preview Sunday's event and make their own climb.  The firefights geared up and walked the 110 floors up the Duke Energy Building in Uptown Charlotte.  Wilson even geared up and managed quite a few floors with the guys.

The makeup and number of climbers participating on Sunday were selected to represent the first responders lost during the 9-1-1 attacks.  The 110 floors are equal to the height of each Twin Tower.

You can find out more about the event on their facebook page HERE.
