UNC 49ers for Life Blood Drive Gets a Visit from WilsonStop by and give a pint of blood and get a pint of ice creamCHARLOTTE, N.C. - Wilson stopped by UNC Charlotte today where they were gearing up for their 4th Annual "49ers for Life" Blood Drive. From 9am until 8pm today stop by Halton Arena on the UNC Charlotte campus, donate a pint of blood and get a free pint of Blue Bell ice cream. The 49ers are once again teaming up with the American Red Cross in a stiff competition to collect more blood than any other college. Appalachian State currently holds the record with 1,313 units collected, so the 49ers are determined to beat their record. Wilson talked with faculty as well as students who are working hard to make the blood drive a success and why they enjoy participating in the event.
