CHARLOTTE , N.C. - Charlotte Motor Speedway is all decked out for Christmas, but not only can you enjoy some beautiful lights, petting zoo, vendors and live nativity, but you can also enjoy the outdoor ice rink. Today you won't see skates on Wilson, but you will see plenty of ice skaters, as well as members of the Charlotte Center Curling Club taking to the ice today. Wilson also took a ride down the ice slide where he realized that the more you weigh, the faster you go down the slide.
From beginners to pros, anybody can hit the rink. Skates are available as well as hot beverages and food. The rink is outside, but covered. Bring the family.
On Thursday, Dec 6th they will have an Olympic theme night with figure skaters, hockey players and curling all demonstrated on the ice. NASCAR drivers will also be there.
