CHARLOTTE, N.C.- Wilson loves Carowinds! And he will hang out there as often as he can. Today he was there for a special reason. As he did last year, Wilson helped the park kick off their Carowinds for the Cure event. He not only got to hang out with 2 of his good buddies, Snoopy and Charlie Brown, but he talked with some wonderful people who have struggled with breast cancer.
This is a great time to save money on park entry tickets, but a great way to help out the Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Between July 23rd-August 19th visitors can save $15 on a single day admission ticket with the purchase of a special Pink Days ticket. One dollar of each ticket redeemed is donated to the Charlotte Chapter of Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
While you are enjoying everything in the park, make sure you adopt a special pink duck and toss it in the lake as Carowinds paints the lake pink to honor people affected by cancer.
