Tera Blake has been waking up with you on Fox News Rising as your Morning Meteorologist with Fox Charlotte since October of 2007.
The Central Illinois native attended Northern Illinois University where she majored in Meteorology with a minor in Broadcast Journalism.
Before landing at Fox Charlotte, Tera was a Meteorologist at the NBC affiliate in Denison, TX. Texas was a perfect spot for Tera to start as a Meteorologist. It is right in the heart of Tornado Alley and with the ever changing severe weather in the south, Tera was ready and prepared for the Carolinas' weather!
Tera feels lucky to be here in North Carolina! She thinks the state has a perfect combination of weather and scenery! Snow one day, 70 the next. . .not bad! Head to the Mountains then to the Ocean!
In her spare time, when she is not weather watching . . .Tera loves spending time with her husband and Lhasa Apso fur babies, working out, soaking up the Carolina sun and entertaining visiting family at our amazing restaurants here in the Queen City!
