Tools

by Deborah Barnes

Charlotte, N.C. - Solis is a beautiful golden lab mix, and the best helper any man could have...he is a "canine companion."  Solis sat quietly by his owner Andy Arnette and Bill Sarantis of Canine Companions for Independence as they talked about the difference that a companion dog can make in the life of a person with disabilities.

Canine Companions for Independence is a non-profit organization that offers service dogs, skilled companion dogs, hearing dogs and facility dogs to disabled adults and children to enhance their way of life.
