Teacher of The Year, Chuck Walker, Talks Parent Involvement on Rising

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Teachers say parents need to step up and get more involved in their child's education.

A new survey from the University of Phoenix says 76  percent of teachers agree that less than half of parents are getting involved.

Nation Ford High School teacher of the year, Chuck Walker, joins Rising to break down what steps parents can take to get more involved.
