CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Cutting down on the brews is key to weight loss. Men's Health Magazine is laying out the rules for drinking in moderation.

Men's Health Magazine editor, Peter Moore, says order a pint of water when you're out. It will leave you feeling full and you're more likely to drink moderately from then on.

Drinking leads to hyperfagia - which can make you order food that you wouldn't normally eat.

Craft beers have a higher calorie content. Brand-name beers will give you a better idea of just how much calories you're consuming.
