CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- It's allergy season! With kids getting in close contact with their friends at school - how do you determine if they have allergies or a common cold?

Dr. Scott Spies with Novant Health is listing off the symptoms for parents.

Spies says if your kid has a runny nose, and itchy and watery eyes - chances are they have allergies. He's telling us how you should be using that over-the-counter medication to make your little one feel better.
