Wilson and the Checkers Help Raise Money for Local Teen Battling Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy
CHARLOTTE, N.C.--Wilson was at Time Warner Cable Arena today hanging out with his hockey buddy Forest, who is in dire need of a new van.
This 9th grader is a great kid and has an amazing attitude, all while dealing with the challenge of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
The Charlotte Checkers are trying to help him out at their game Saturday at noon.
Fundraising tickets are available for $15 and the Checkers are giving $6 to Forest’s family to help them purchase a new wheelchair-accessible van!!
So make sure you go out and support Forest and the Checkers this weekend!
